On August 15, Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea signed a bilateral agreement to construct a new gas pipeline that will transport gas from gas-rich Nigeria to Equatorial Guinea to be processed at EG’s LNG processing facilities at Punta Europa complex on Bioko Island LNG. The new agreement marks a new milestone for energy opportunities between the two nations and paves the way for energy security in west Africa.
