U.S. strikes Venezuela, Trump says Maduro and his Wife Captured and Flown out of the Country: Impact on the Oil Market
President Donald Trump announced that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were captured and removed from the country early Saturday following a large-scale U.S. military operation, amid reports of multiple explosions in Caracas and other areas.
Worth noting that the plan to attack Venezuela or remove maduro is old. Tulsi Gabbard, the current Director of National Intelligence, objected to such attack in 2019 as show in her tweet below.
